This is a family business first. Every person on this team runs off-road on weekends. It's not just a job. It's the hobby.
Sat on his first 65cc in 2004 and never looked back. Three national titles in the 2019 and 2020 Nitro Arenacross Championships. Started OSC to give back to the off-road community that raised him.

The name came from the day I bought my first new-to-me Jeep. I purchased it with the intention of taking it off-roading, although it was in "like new" condition. The question I often got when I told people I wanted to get in the woods and rocks with it was, "Aren't you afraid you're going to scratch it?" My response was, "Every scratch gets me ONE STEP CLOSER to where I want to be." "Where do you want to be?" they'd ask. "Not giving a sh!t anymore," I'd say... meaning I'll eventually not worry about the scratches. From that, "One Step Closer" became our wheeling mantra. Anytime one of us rubbed a rock or a tree, or sometimes even worse, we'd just say it: ONE STEP CLOSER.
The takeaway is... have fun and don't let the small things get to you. I'll see you on the trail.
